One of the traditions here is that when a new senior couple arrives, as many senior couples as are available go to the airport to welcome them. This was great to see when we arrived. It. Made it seem like we were not here alone at all. The new couple that arrived this past week were just as happy as we were to see friendly faces. There were not too many couples available to go so we were glad we went. Pres and Sister Moon were there too. There were also 3 young missionaries on the same plane. They are all Americans, one of Cambodian parents living in US and 2 have Vietnamese parents. Two will go to Vietnam and the other will stay in Cambodia. They were pretty excited to be here and anxious to get going. We were with our two Cambodian friends, Jesse and Davot, who were driving with us to some places to check out for the Young Ambassadors visit. These two are so great, always happy and wanting to help us. Love them. After the airport we went to Mike's Burgers for lunch. It was fun as the owner, Mike, gave us a big welcome and said he feeds all the missionaries. He said he patterned his place after In and Out and had just come back from the states. His burgers are great and huge! Much bigger than In and Out but the taste is similar and the fries are the same. We enjoy American food once in a while.
