Angkor Wat

We had the wonderful opportunity to visit Angkor Wat on Saturday.  I never believed I would have the chance to be here!  It is the largest religious compound in the world. Built in the 12th century.  It is unbelievably huge. It's hard to imagine how long it must have taken to build. There are carvings on every surface.  It has been abandoned for so long that trees are growing on top of and over the temple.
