New water filters

This past week the North district in Phnom Penh held a district conference.  The visiting authorities were Elder Wilson of the Area Presidency and Elder Pon of the area seventy.  The district president, Eng Bunhouch asked the humanitarian missionaries to arrange for every member of his district to receive a water filter and a hygiene kit after the conference. We met on Friday with some of the members of the district to assemble the hygiene kits and on Saturday the 3 Vietnamese branches in the city met to assemble and then receive their kits and filters. It was fun to be with them while kits. were assembled.  It's always fun when people work together. Some district members have good jobs and nicer homes but many have no electricty or running water and hygiene is a problem for them.  Some members live quite a way out of the city and there were 3 buses sent out to get them and take them home again. It was especially fun to see how many members loaded up their motos with family and filters!
