An unusual Christmas here this year but a very good one too. Christmas Eve was spent with the 120 missionaries here in Cambodia at a service project at the Killing Fields memorial park. That was a great experience and we got a lot done. The in the afternoon we were at the South District Center with everyone for a talent show, gift exchange, dinner and a devotional. It was a lot of fun and made the day very nice. On Christmas we were back at the district center for a morning of training and planning for the coming year. It is pretty amazing watching the young missionaries in action. They are so capable and really impressive with their teaching and training. We realize more than ever now what the missionaries are capable of and how underused they are when they get home. After training we went to lunch with a bunch of the senior missionaries and that was fun. They are such a great group of people. What a privilege to serve with them. We missed being with our dear family on Christmas but loved being able to talk to them by phone.
