Embassy Christmas Party

We went to the embassy Christmas party tonight and had a nice time there. We spoke with several people that are good contacts for us along with the ambassador as well. It was fun to see the light show where they lit up their Christmas lights outside of the building. They had snow machines that made sort of soapy snow but it was fun to see it snowing in Cambodia. We spoke to a couple of the marines stationed there. We have a soft spot for our military guys.  The ambassador spoke briefly and there was food and drinks and pictures with Santa. The ambassador also introduced the new members of the youth council. We enjoyed the large group of Americans there. We love the Khmer people but it was nice to not worry about language for an evening. Definitely a Cambodian evening though as we pulled up to the embassy in a Tuk Tuk!
