Fundraising Efforts

We are in the middle of trying to raise funds for the Young Ambassadors performance here in May. We decided to make it a benefit concert to help raise awareness for the Nokor Tep hospital that is being supported and built by Tabitha. We got no interest in the YA when we tried to get sponsors just on the their name and program. By trying to support the hospital we have had more interest. We have talked to so many people and they all express interest and tell us they will get back to us. We are still waiting for most of them. Hope that is not all just bad news. We are hoping for at least good ticket sales as that seems possible when we have shown different people the clips that BYU has sent here to use. This whole thing is taking so much time. The upside is that we have met some very influential people and that is what we are supposed to be doing. People such as the Prime Ministers son in law and the personal assistant to the prime ministers son who we hope to meet with again soon. We have met with 2 big banks, Smart cell phone company, a movie theater, a network provider and several others.  Khmer New Year is next week and that makes it like the week between Christmas and New Years at home. This is the biggest holiday of the year here so that really slows down our efforts. Keep trying!!!
