Saying Goodbye

How very difficult it has been to say goodbye to my wonderful father from so far away. We knew as we prepared to leave home for a mission that the chances were high that we would miss saying goodbye. I am so happy for him that he has graduated and know that he graduated with the highest honors. He has always been a wonderful example of loving others and caring for those in need of comfort. We will miss him so much but are so happy that the pain is gone. I'm sure that his challenges these past few years are part of the refiner's fire and know that he met his challenges with humor and dignity. He even left a reminder here in Cambodia as he generously contributed to the wells and pigs project here.  Somewhere here there is a well with his name on it and he is honored every time water is drawn from that well. We will miss you dearly Dad and can't wait to see you again.
