Food distribution near Siem Reap

Today we had the amazing privilege of being the faces of LDS Charities as food was delivered to over 800 families who are displaced due to the extreme flooding this year.  We are in Siem Reap for planning for the Open House here and someone was needed to go and participate in the food presentation ceremony.  What an amazing privilege to represent the generosity of LDS members who contribute to humanitarian needs throughout the world. It is amazing how much good is done by the Church. We went today into the provinces with the Governor of Siem Reap Province and many members of the Cambodian Red Cross. There were over 400 families in two different locations that were given food by LDS Charities. It was such an wonderful experience to be part of the ceremony. We felt truly humbled to be there and see these dear people.
