Great friends, Marc and Julie Nielsen visited us from Alpine. They came during the week of water festival so we went for four days to Siem Reap to escape the expected crowds in Phnom Penh. We let them sight see a few days ahead of that near Phnom Penh as we took care of things we had to do in the city before we had some free time. We visited Angkor Wat, watched the boat races in Siem Reap, went to the silk factory and the stone carving factory, to Kulen Mountain to see the water fall, the floating village on Tonle Sap Lake and really had a great time with them. We were able to meet the Governor of Siem Reap Province while we were there so that we were able to maintain our friendship with he and his wife. They are very friendly with us now and know the Church from the contact we have had with him during relief ceremonies and also the open house for the new chapel there.
