Vietnamese Branch

We had such an amazing day today. We were picked up again by the Westovers to go to the Vietnamese branch with them. We had to look at each other and shake our heads. First we are told we do not need to learn a language. Then we get a call to go to tutoring classes to learn Cambodian. Today everyone is speaking Vietnamese and we do our best to follow along and sing the hymns. We had missionaries sit behind us and translate which helped a lot. After the meeting there was a baptism of a brother and sister. Our first baptism here!  They served a bean soup afterward that was sweet and were told it was a dessert in honor of the baptism. What an amazing day!

  1. So in 18mo you will be fluent in both Cambodian and Vietnamese then? Happy to hear you arrived. Keep blogging and tell dad to keep posting photos! We like to see them!
