8/17/2013 Brother and Sister V off to Cambodia!

Starting this blog off right with a sample post for your viewing pleasure. 18 months is a long time with no hugs, so we expect to see some updates with your faces on them!

To start your blog, hit the pencil icon from the home page and an empty screen should pull up. Type away!

See the little picture icon at the top? You can click on it to upload pictures like this super adorable one.

You can upload directly from your computer via the choose files tab, or if you want to get really fancy you can download the Google+ ap to your iPhone/ipad and under the settings within the ap enable auto back up. Your photos from your iPhone/ipad will then be automatically uploaded to the google server (private so only you can access them) and will automatically show up when you click "phone" under the downloads. Google gives you a certain amount of free space, not sure how much that is, but this option is only really for when you are too lazy to download your iphone photos to your computer or want to update directly from the phone/ipad. Assuming you take pictures with your phone.

If you click on the picture once its uploaded you can see different options on how big to make it, placement right, left, center or actually put a caption on it.

Once you have finished your blog you can hit the preview button at the top right and to finish hit publish!

You can edit or delete your posts (like this one) at any time on the main dashboard just place your curser over the post. This blog is currently set to private so no one can read it unless you invite them via email from this blog. They will have to sign in to be able to read it. Ive already added myself, Mike, and you (so you can see what the invite looks like). 

To invite more people under the blog home page you will see a pencil in orange (thats how you create a new post) and next to it is an icon that looks like papers. Click that and go down to the settings tab. Once on the settings page scroll to the bottom and you will see where I have selected "only allow these readers"click edit,  there you will see a link to add and you can add directly from your contacts list.
